Woffords say 2 brothers, William and Absalom came from Cumberland, Engl and to PA near MD. Absalom (1690-1750) came to Prince George Co., MD n ear Rock Creek, had 5 sons, the last of which was Benjamin. From there t hey migrated to Spartanburg, SC. Womack.
